Land of the Cute

Me and mommy at the Yerba Buena Merry-Go-Round in SF

The last few days have been very relaxing.  Mommy, Daddy, Sammy and me have been putting around the house because of rain, and when it cleared up a bit, we went to SF for a little time outside

I was playing with some chimes at the Yerba Buena Children's Circle

And here's me and Sammy hanging out, watching Snow White.

Look at me! I'm taking a bath with my big bro!

I am a big girl now.  I don't need to take a bath in a baby tub anymore, I can take a bath in the big tub.  The other night, me and Sammy took a bath together.

Sammy's the best big brother, he showed me how to wash and rinse, and I ate the bath toys.

Speaking of eating, I can eat real food now.  Here's when me and grandma and grandpa Steve went to El Toro Loco.  I am eating a quesadilla!  Well, sucking on the quesadilla anyway.

Sometimes when things aren't going my way, I let mom and dad know it.  I figured out that if I cry loud enough, the person I want to pick me up will pick me up.  Of course, sometimes, I'm not so passionate about getting picked up, here's me suggesting that I get picked up, but then being interested in a toy.

(not pictured: Actual tears)

Finally, Here I am wearing Sammy's monkey ears from his first Halloween.  I am almost as old now as he was then.

I've been born

Tyler Pearl Romero

born May 26, 2011 at 1:41 p.m. (due date was 6/13 but c-section because of mommy's placentia previa)

5 lbs.  13 oz., 19" long

blue eyes, brown hair -- squeaks and quacks

Mommy and daddy went to the hospital early in the morning on
Thursday. There were some delays, but they had fun passing the time.

The birth was pretty exciting. Dad swore he wouldn't look at what the doctors were doing, but he did.

And then, I was born.

I met my mommy

And my brother

And my grandparents

Mom and dad stayed in the hospital for three days. They passed the time as best as they could

And finally we got to go home
